2022 was a big year for us here at Sendible. Here's a quick recap of what we've been up to over the last year. 🎉
From being able to release our top-voted feature of all time - Instagram carousels - to simplifying our Facebook connection process, we’ve had lots of exciting new updates.

1.🎠 Instagram image carousels
Carousels make up nearly a fifth of all published content on Instagram. So it’s no surprise that it was our most popular feature request of all time.
Since its long-awaited release earlier this year thanks to Instagram opening up its API, our customers have scheduled over 1 million carousels! 🙌

2. 🎥 Short-form video: YouTube Shorts and Facebook & Instagram Reels
Short-form video is a great way to attract new followers thanks to its discoverability. With Sendible, you can now schedule your short-form videos across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
For Facebook and Instagram, make sure you select Post video as: Reel in the Compose Box when uploading your Reel.
For YouTube, it’s as simple as uploading a vertical video under 60 seconds, which will then be automatically uploaded as a short. Don’t forget to add #shorts to your caption to improve your discoverability!
3. 🗣 Replying to Instagram comments
Managing your community has to be one of the biggest challenges social media managers face. This release enables you to create conversations with your Instagram followers within your Social Feeds by clicking Reply to comments and selecting Add Comment to add a new comment to your posts.
4. 📝 Alt text for Facebook images
As a significant step in helping you make your content more inclusive on social media, we recently released the ability to add Alt text for Facebook image posts within our built-in image editor.

5. 📸 GIPHY & Pexels integration
We’ve made some new friends in 2022: GIPHY and Pexels! This update has given you access to millions of royalty-free images and GIFs when adding media through your Compose Box.

🚀 Platform improvements & fixes
Facebook New Page Experience
We know how tricky Facebook profile connections can be, especially with Meta’s rollout of the New Page Experience. That’s why we were thrilled to provide you with an easier way to manage Facebook connections including those on the New Page Experience.
This new update meant that you now only have to grant Sendible all the required permissions once, which then gives you the ability to add a profile or edit an existing profile without needing to accept permissions a second time.
Profile connections and other dashboard improvements
Merging Facebook Ads profiles with Facebook Page Profiles was just one of the many improvements we made to your workflow on Sendible.
With this update, your Facebook Ads profile automatically connects to Sendible when you connect the associated Facebook page to Sendible, saving you time and profile allocations! 🎉 You can read more about this improvement here.
Thanks to our developers who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, we’ve also made some platform updates throughout the year which have resulted in improving our dashboard speed by 75%. 🙌

Over the past year we’ve hosted 47 Deep Dive Webinars, where we walked through making the most out of all of our different features in Sendible.

Our Social Media Calendar 2023 is now out! 🎉 With over 300 hashtags and post ideas, it includes all the holidays you loved from 2022 plus more than 50 brand new ones along with actionable social media tips.
